Have just returned from a 4 day trip to France. La Grande Corbiere is the perfect spot if you want to get away from it all for a few days and relax in the heart of the beautiful Normandy country side. It's wasted as an overnight stop-over for those en route south, it really is a destination in itself, absolutely ideal in terms of location and proximity to the best that Normandy has to offer. Just a short drive from Dieppe , nestled in a valley surrounded by forest, the only neighbours are the birds that flitter between the trees in the day, the deer that roam the valley at dusk and the Owls that hoot at night. It couldn't have been better for exploring the Normandy coastline, the beautiful Cathedral at Eu, enchanting medieval city of St Valery sur Somme as well as the many historical sites and museums along the way that bring WW1 & WW2 to life. Sampling the famous Neufchatel cheese, located in town just 5 mins away is also a must.||||Chris and Ros couldn't have been more welcoming. The rooms at La Grande Corbiere are rustic and beautiful, with every attention to detail covered and set around peaceful gardens with a real home from home feel. It is the small, personal touches that made all the difference here and no stay would be complete without taking advantage of the home cooked, gourmet 5 course supper that Ros lovingly serves each night. Equal too, but at a fraction of the price of top class restaurants (including wine) you really wouldn't find anything better and it was such a luxury to return to the comfort of La Grande Corbiere each night and completely relax and unwind with a great meal and good wine. Really cant recommend it enough. So if you are looking for an easy, luxurious, relaxing get-away this is your place !

We recently spent an overnight stay at La Grande Corbiere. It was our first visit and certainly did not disappoint. Our hosts, Ros and Chris, were most welcoming and happy to spend time talking about their experiences whilst building what has become a perfect B&B in the most delightful spot in a forested area in Normandy. To be able to unwind after our journey in the beautiful gardens, taking in the peace and tranquility, was a joy. Then, for a pretty modest sum, we had a superb meal - preceded by a drink with the other guests and our hosts in their comfortable lounge. All-in-all, quite a find!

The Grande Corbiere is situated without neighbours. The location isn't remote but feels as though it is. Set in stunning gardens the property is the result of hard work by the owners Ros and Chris. If you want a very warm welcome, excellent food and a fair priced stay you must stay here if visiting this area of France. Everything is relaxed ,dinner was served at our convenience, drinks served as required. The bedrooms are clean and well furnished. The lounge has a TV for those who need it and is comfortable. There is also a log fire for the colder months. I imagine this is a popular place and booking in advance is advised. My only negative is the Peacock (Percy) starts calling at dawn and in June that's early. I quite liked to hear it but may not be to everyones' liking

We were lucky enough to find La Grande Corbiere over 15 years ago and we have never stayed anywhere else that even comes close to matching it for quality and value. Ros and Chris provide a welcome that is second to none and Ros’s cooking is out of this world. The moment you step out of your car and walk into the beautifully landscaped gardens you know you have found a piece of paradise. We have celebrated birthdays and wedding anniversaries there. We have stayed there with our children and we have introduced friends to Ros and Chris’s unique blend of hospitality and attention to detail. We visit every year and always start and end our French holidays at La Grande Corbiere. We have even been known to change our holiday dates if Ros and Chris were not able to fit us in. Don’t take our word for it, go and see for yourselves.

Just a one night stop over , we enjoyed a delicious meal in the evening. Breakfast was great too. The gardens looked lovely but didnt have time to discover. Our room was quirky with lots of beams. Fine for 1 night , im sure there were other rooms were more spacious.

My fourth (or fifth) stay here as a motorcyclist. The proprietors are always welcoming, sociable and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you have arrived late afternoon and are venturing further South the following day. It is situated in beautiful countryside and the garden is lovely to walk around or just relax in a recliner chair. ||I was allowed to park my bike in the locked garage.

This was our first stop on a cycling trip to Paris, it is idyllic. We were given a warm welcome on arrival and a cold beer, the rooms are quaint with lovely views. I would recommend this place, it is run by an English couple, Rod and Chris.
