I spent two days with Kevin cycling Alp de Hurez and col de Ornon. Kevin was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was an excellent coach and tour guide. Highly recommend!!!!!!

My wife and I enjoyed our 6 night stay in August 2023 very much indeed! What a wonderful B&B in an amazing location. I was able to enjoy some excellent riding in the mountains after a couple of cool wet days.
The B&B has excellent garage storage for bikes. Kevin & Delphine have a wealth of knowledge and can suggest appropriate routes depending on the rider's needs.
The breakfast and chat around the table was a highlight, too.
Le Bourg-d'Oisans is a delightful small town with several very good cafes and restaurants. We would love to return.

Really loved staying at cycling ascents, Kevin and Delphine were excellent hosts making me feel very welcome, the place was perfect for all of my needs. The location is absolutely spectacular with Kevin able to provide assistance with finding all of the great climbs in the area. Already thinking about when I can come back again. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Cycling Ascents in September for a bucket-list bike trip to the French Alps. CA was the perfect location and Kevin was the perfect host. The breakfast was truly world class. Some of the best baked goods, yogurt and muesli we have ever had. Kevin's support with logistics, bike issues, and route planning helped to make the trip easier, and even better. If you have always wanted to ride in the Alps, Cycling Ascents is the way to go.

If you like energetic cycling, scenery and mountains, there can be few better places to visit than Bourg d'Oisans. And Cycling Ascents is the perfect base for exploring the area. They provide a warm and welcoming bed and breakfast service, tailored for cyclists. Kevin and Delphine have lived in Bourg d'Oisans for over a decade, and have a wealth of local knowledge. They are experts in all aspects of riding locally, and both keen cyclists with competition experience. And of course, they know all the best places to eat locally. There is also plenty of secure bike storage. It's a wonderful environment in which to stay. The riding is superb, with many climbs including the tough Cols du Glandon and Croix de Fer, the mighty Col du Galibier and the iconic Alpe d'Huez directly accessible. There are lots of other options too, all very scenic and with varying degrees of difficulty. We've just spent a fabulous couple of weeks staying with them.

We are a group of 10 cyclists and had such a great time at Cycle Ascents in Le Bourg-d'Oisans. The house is in a perfect location for getting to town and also to access the stunning cycle routes of surrounding areas including Alpes d'Huez and Les Deux Alpes. We stayed for 5 days/nights and cycled to different areas each day - We could have easily spent more days there and cycled other routes. Kevin is very knowledgeable about the local cycling area and his knowledge added to the trip. Very tidy chalet, ample storage for bikes, good breakfast and hot tub for relaxation. Town is very nice with a few good restaurants.||I would highly recommend Cycle Ascents and Le Bourg-d'Oisans.||Thanks||Andrew

Fantastic stay!! thank you to Kevin & Delphine for your hospitality. The accommodation is very clean, spacious , safe and secure , absolutely ideal for our trip. The food and coffee provided a perfect start to each day. Thanks for the insight & tips for the Marmotte...I'm sure it was a great help... and for tips on local routes, Col's and cafe stops. I really enjoyed our accompanied ride to Villard's Notre dame. Hope you enjoyed the Waffles!!
